My snow shovel vs the kids hallway
The weapon, the battlefield, the losers and the winner!
Good thing the kids are gone. ;)
I actually do it all the time when they are here. It's just a really
loud process.

Tower of fish sticks - when Dad makes dinner
So I actually didn't cook them. My 11 year old daughter did. But I stacked them. My 3 year old thinks it's cool.

There's a bat in the house (part 2)
I got a text message from home saying there's a bat in the house. He
slept most of the day. We left him alone and opened a window and he
flew out. We got some okay pictures.

When a tree falls on my road does it make a sound ;)
So the power went out this morning following a series of crashes pops and sounds that sounded like a bucket on a frontloader banging the road. Turns out it's one of my trees this time. Strange thing is no heavy winds or rain and the tree snapped about 20-30 feet off the ground.

This tree has had a lot of bad days
I noticed this tree today. It occurred to me that it must have had a
lot of bad days. It's all mangled up but somehow it still stretches to
the sky. When I step back and look again it's got an awfully nice
view and looks pretty neat. I wonder if the tree thinks it's worth
it.
