James was playing around with cartoons. He is very creative and I like
how he just sounds out and spells words like he hears them. The story
is kind of goofy and all fun. I like that my kids are super creative.
Makes me so happy to see them trying stuff like this on their own.
My 3 yr olds castle project
When I got home today my youngest was absorbed in a detailed project. He designed and made a castle with a moat and a popsicle drawbridge. I only saw the painting stage but Robyn told me that the detail he put into gluing the sticks together, cutting out the door, and running the bead of glue on the lip of the cup to stick to the paper. He was very proud of his project.

Who are you? I can't stand this kind of website.
Sequoia Capital's new website really annoys me. I can't really
articulate exactly why it strikes a nerve with me. Let me try to
explain it this way. I think it's either really presumptuous to have a site like this or an
attempt to be cute or sophisticated. Regardless of the intent, for
someone outside of "the valley" or as we like to say up here "that
valley", it's the epitome of the arrogance of the tech and VC funded
market. Plus it didn't answer my questions. You would have to "know" who they are in order to have any clue what
to do when you got to their website. And for someone who has raised a
lot of money, I really want to know much more about a fund before I
waste any time with them. Especially the big funds. On the positive note. It would save a lot of money in design costs and
content creation. But I think that's about it. Cute, but I give it a big thumbs down. Check it out at http://sequoiacap.com
